Hopefully we all have plans for evacuation and meeting places for our families should a natural disaster occur. But have you thought of your pets and livestock? What do you do with them? Leave them at home? Surely not! You take them along! But where are you going? If your destination is a shelter, they may not allow animals.
Ready.gov has some great ideas on caring for animals in a natural disaster including alternate plans, buddy systems with neighbors, and more.
