As with many of my recipes, I try to find a way to utilize food I have in the pantry,
just to make sure my stockpile remains as fresh as possible. I had a bag of dried cherries and mangoes in the dried goods section and was skeptical about making a fruit cobbler with them, but it turned out to be very tasty!
I’d made apple, peach, and cherry cobblers before, so this fruit combo triggered my
curiosity. I also used the crockpot for this recipe, instead of heating up the kitchen with my oven.
