Homemade Shaving Cream Recipe

Shaving creams have a lot of toxins, and most of them contain mineral oil, foaming agents, and antifreeze, just to name a few.

Our rich, fluffy homemade shaving cream recipe allows you to avoid these harmful ingredients.

Shelf Life: 3 months

Benefits: Coconut oil, almond oil, and shea butter will guide your razor smoothly over your skin to help prevent nicks along the way, while leaving your skin silky and moisturized.

The castile soap will act as the foaming agent but won’t lather like a drugstore shaving cream. But, here’s the thing: a shaving cream doesn’t need to foam.

We’re just used to seeing this way. As long as it’s moisturizing and “slippery”, it’s doing its job.

Tips and Tricks: Store this shaving cream outside of the shower to keep it fluffy.

Variations: Feel free to add some essential oils to create a scented shaving cream.

How to Use: Using a spoon to remove the mixture from the jar, add around 1-2 tablespoons onto each leg before shaving. Remember to rinse off your razor when finished so it doesn’t get clogged with oil.
