Homemade Oxiclean Recipe
I LOVE the way Oxiclean works! Never imagined it could be duplicated with ordinary household products. You’ve probably already got washing soda on hand, if you’re making the Mom Prepares liquid laundry soap blend, and who doesn’t have hydrogen peroxide? Just combine
- 1 cup water,
- 1/2 cup hydrogen peroxide,
- 1/2 cup washing soda.
Keep the mix in a dark bottle, since peroxide loses effectiveness if it gets in the light. (Ever wonder why peroxide bottles are always dark? Now you know!) I like to use a half-empty peroxide bottle, and just make a mix in there and add a spray/squeeze-on top. Voila – instant oxiclean!
