This is a review of Kettle & Fire bone broth soups to see if they are worth trying and if they actually taste good.

Today I’m reviewing Kettle & Fire Bone Broth, a product that I love and consume literally every day.

First I'll let you know what exactly bone broth is and why it's so great, and then why Kettle & Fire is a great option!

What is Bone Broth?

Unlike stock or broth, which can be made in a matter of hours, bone broth is made by simmering animal bones in water for about 24 hours.

Preferably with some great spices and veggies! This amount of time allows the bone’s full gelatin, collagen, and protein content to be extracted.

It is then filtered, resulting in an incredibly nourishing and nutritionally beneficial liquid.

What is Bone Broth

Why I Love it Bone Broth

When I was a kid, my mom made the best chicken soup with her very own bone broth. It kept us warm throughout winter, made its way into packed lunches at school, and was always whipped up when I got sick.

It has always brought me back to life. Even after I left home, my mom would still bring me her miraculous cure-all soup when my roommate or I caught a bug.

While a touch of mother’s love can go far, there’s no denying the powerful healing benefits of bone broth. Not only can it boost immunity, but according to a number of studies bone broth can also:

  • Alleviate colds and bronchitis
  • Fight inflammation
  • Strengthen bones and teeth
  • Promote weight loss
  • Build muscle
  • Hydrate
  • Improve mood
  • Aid in digestion and gut health
  • Improve skin, hair, and nails
  • Aid joints and ligaments

Why I Choose Kettle & Fire Bone Broth

It would be lovely to make my own bone broth from scratch like my mom used to. But no one got time for that.

Besides, to invest in the same time and high-quality ingredients that Kettle & Fire does in their bone broth would cost me more than just ordering from them.

I’ve tried a lot of bone broths on the market, and this one is my favorite so far.

Kettle & Fire makes their bone broth with 100% grass-fed bones from animals raised without hormones or antibiotics.

It is also non-GMO and MSG, dairy, soy, and gluten-free.

They simmer the bones in filtered water with organic vegetables and spices for 20+ hours.

The resulting broth is packaged hot in vacuum-sealed containers, giving it a two-year shelf-life without having to use any preservatives or freezing.

I also love that the packaging is recyclable and made with natural materials. It is BPA and BPS free too.

The result is a high-quality, delicious broth with 10g of protein and chock-full of collagen, gelatin, and amino acids.

How does it Taste?

The care and high-quality ingredients that go into this broth show in the taste. It is delicious, nourishing, and full of savory, natural flavor.

Kettle & Fire Chicken and Beef Bone Broth

There are three flavors:

  • Beef Bone Broth
  • Chicken Bone Broth
  • Mushroom Chicken Bone Broth

They’re all good, but I like the chicken bone broth the best. I drink it every day! I usually just sip it or take it wherever I’m going in a thermos, just like coffee.

All of these work fantastic as bases in soups and sauces too. One thing I started doing recently is instead of cooking rice with water, I use the chicken bone broth. It is a game changer!

The Kettle and Fire blog has some really delicious looking recipes if you need some inspiration!

How much does it Cost?

You can order 16 oz boxes of Kettle & Fire Bone Broth in packs of 2, 6 , 12, or 18. They are $7.99 a box, but you get a slight discount if you order a 12 or 18 pack. They also offer subscriptions, which gives you a significant discount as well.

I’ve tried a lot of bone broths in the past, and I feel that this is a very good price. There are many inferior-quality broths out there that cost way more.

Final Thoughts About Kettle & Fire Bone Broth

Clearly, I love Kettle & Fire Bone Broth for many reasons. They use really high-quality ingredients and it tastes delicious. The broth makes a significant improvement in my health and how I feel, and the price is fair. I’ve been drinking it every day for quite a while now, and I would definitely recommend checking it out!
