Exfoliating Homemade Face Scrub

Exfoliating is an important part of your weekly skincare routine. Both dry and oily skin types should be exfoliating at least once a week.

It helps to get rid of dead skin, dirt, excess oil, and it preps the skin for maximum serum and moisturizer absorption. This homemade face scrub recipe works for both oily and dry skin types.

Shelf Life: 1 month

Benefits: Oat flour is hydrating and exfoliates without being too harsh on your skin. Dried tea leaves also exfoliate and provide nutrients to your skin, while coconut oil and honey hydrate and smooth skin.

Tips and Tricks: This exfoliator can also be used as a masque. After exfoliating, leave on your skin for 10—15 minutes.

Variations: Oat flour can be replaced with almond flour and green tea with mint. You can also leave out the raw honey if you don’t have any.

How to Use: Rub 1 tablespoon of mixture on face, neck, and chest, in a circular motion. Exfoliate for about 3 minutes and rinse off with a warm cloth.
