Shelf Life: 6 months
Benefits: Aloe is great for frizzy hair. It helps to moisturize, add shine, and the amino acids found in the aloe help to strengthen your hair, which leads to less breakage and frizz.
Jojoba oil is an emollient, so it actually helps to fills in any cracks and breaks on the surface of your hair. It’s also rich in nutrients, vitamins, and minerals.
Rosewater is rich in antioxidants and vitamins A, C, D, and E, which help to condition your hair, and it can even help to repair damaged hair and porosity.
Vegetable glycerin helps to seal in moisture, so it’s a great accompaniment to the hydrating ingredients in this recipe.
Variations: Sub vanilla oil for essential oil of choice.
We chose jojoba oil because it is great for all hair types, but you can use any oil you like with the exception of coconut oil, which may clog the pump.
You can sub rosewater for more distilled water, but it won’t smell as nice and will be missing some of the benefits.
Tips and Tricks: This spray doubles as a lovely hydrating facial mist! Use it at home or pour some into a mini spray bottle and enjoy a refreshing spritz throughout the day.

This spray really works! I wash my hair, use a heat protectant then liberally spray on your product. I blow dry my hair and am so impressed with the results. I have thin hair that gets out of control with the smallest amount of humidity. Honestly, prior to discovering your recipe, I was embarrassed to be around people anytime weather conditions were humid. And, in Ohio, that happens a lot in the summer. I’ve wasted lots of money on products that weigh down my hair or make it oily. Your recipe makes my hair soft, shiny, adds body and I can go 2 to 3 days before needing to wash my hair. My hairdresser was skeptical, so I took it to my appointment 2 days ago and she used it prior to blow drying my hair. She was impressed with the body and shine that isn’t normally there!
I did make a couple of changes to the recipe because I didn’t have rose water nor jojoba oil. I used water, grape seed oil, vegetable glycerin, aloe vera and my essential oils were rosemary and rose hip oil.
I am truly grateful that you posted this recipe. It has helped improve my appearance and my confidence :)

Hi. Does the recipe need the rose water. I’m alergic to fragrance.
